Six familiar profiles, each with its own grain and meeting of materials.
Ulivo
Olivewood from the Piana di Gioia Tauro, Calabria. Six designs, each paired with a Condottiero knot in 25 mm.
Morta
Stabilised bog oak from Eastern Europe. Deep tones, visible grain and natural pores, with a matte finish and a final wax application to help reduce fingerprints.

Polvere di Stelle
Burl carried down from Calabria’s mountains and weathered for years on its beaches. I stabilise it in my workshop, then pair it with epoxy resin and fine silver powder.
Masterpieces
Masterpieces is the name I reserve for brushes shaped by particularly fine woods or distinctive combinations of materials. It is a personal choice, guided by the character of each material and the possibilities it offers.
A Masterpiece may also begin with a bespoke commission.

The care that goes into a Masterpiece continues in the knot. Each brush is fitted with Imperatore, the finest Silvertip badger knot in my selection, reserved exclusively for Masterpieces.
Its exceptional density and smooth contact on the skin give the brush a full, luxurious feel. I choose the shape, diameter and fitted loft to complement the handle and the way the brush will be used.
Imperatore is included in the price of every Masterpiece. Handle and knot are considered together, from the first idea to the finished brush.
