The feel
Imperatore is intended to give smooth contact and a full feel on the face. The dense knot uses a restrained tip-finishing process designed to reduce prickliness.
I choose the version, diameter and fitted loft to suit each Masterpiece.

Construction & reference lofts
The Silvertip hair receives a proprietary, restrained tip-finishing process intended to preserve the hair while reducing prickliness.
The specification refers to the current batch of Silvertip hair. Diameter and fitted loft are chosen individually for your Masterpiece. Comfort describes the intended feel; individual skin sensitivity still matters.
Reference lofts below are in millimetres. Loft is the length of hair or fibre exposed above the handle; total knot height also includes the part fitted into the handle.

Your Masterpiece
Every Masterpiece is fitted with Imperatore, included in the price of the complete brush. I choose the knot’s shape, diameter and fitted loft to complement the handle and the way you lather.
I make complete shaving brushes; handles and loose knots are not sold separately.
Care after use
Rinse thoroughly, gently shake out excess water and allow the brush to dry in a ventilated place. Let the tips do the work rather than pressing the knot flat.
