Asking about a piece
This website is a presentation of individually made pieces, some of which may occasionally be available. A website enquiry is not an order, does not reserve a piece and carries no obligation. I reply personally. Before any purchase is agreed, I confirm the individual piece, knot, total price, delivery details and proposed dispatch date in writing.
Prices, payment and delivery
Prices are in euros and refer to complete shaving brushes, with the recommended knot included. Handles are not sold separately. The listing identifies the included knot, identification coin and shipping area. Other destinations, changes and any additional delivery costs are agreed before payment. Import duties or taxes at the destination may be payable by the buyer.
I send a PayPal link after confirming availability and the total. Payment-card details are handled by PayPal. I prepare the piece once payment is confirmed and share any tracking supplied by the carrier. Please contact me if a parcel is delayed, lost or damaged.
Returns and problems
I do not offer additional voluntary change-of-mind returns. Where statutory consumer distance-selling rules apply, you may withdraw from an eligible purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. Notify me by email, then return the item within 14 days of your notice. The direct return-shipping cost is yours, unless applicable law provides otherwise. I will reimburse the payment and the eligible original standard delivery cost as required by law, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. I may withhold reimbursement until I receive the returned item or evidence of its return, where permitted. Any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item may be deducted as allowed by law. Specific lawful exceptions can apply to genuinely made-to-order or clearly personalised goods, but handmade production alone does not create an exception.
If you notice a possible construction defect or another problem with your piece, please contact me with the catalogue number, a description and photographs where useful. I will assess the issue and arrange the remedy required by the applicable rules. A defect may become apparent during normal use; prior use alone does not exclude a claim.
Ordinary wear, accidental impacts, inappropriate cleaning products, unauthorised alterations, misuse and inadequate care are not construction defects when they caused the damage. Each issue is assessed in its actual circumstances, without limiting any statutory conformity remedies, warranties or other mandatory rights.
Bespoke work
Design, materials, knot, price, making time and any deposit or cancellation arrangements are agreed separately in writing. Any lawful exception to withdrawal rights for personalised work is explained before agreement; being handmade alone does not make a piece non-returnable.
Your rights
Nothing here limits mandatory rights or any consumer protection or jurisdiction that applies to you. Italian law is proposed subject to those protections. The terms provided before we agree the purchase apply to that purchase.
